Noel in her studio. This is a new toy, a crayola drawing tool designed for toddler. Noel is well beyond that age and level, but she continuously asking for it (yeah, to add some dramatic effect - with tears in her eyes begging for it) I finally surrendered. You should see that huge smile on her face when I came home with the set last week. She, still, thanks me for her "zig-zag game!"
But I have to say the drawings done from using "zig-zags" are pretty basic lines and dots, I guess it is a good tool for toddler to play with the idea of drawing, but for a 3 -year -old.... honestly, a bit too juvenile; but a good toy for entertaining herself.
As promised, here are some drawings to show off. All the stories/titles are from Noel's own explanations. This one touches my heart. Noel said this is mama painting in the studio, wearing an artist hat (that is why no hair here); underneath mama is a big rug and on the easel is a half finished painting! (notice I have a palette and a brush in my hands.)
"Noel in Hawaii, wearing a swimming suit and playing with the sand bucket and shovel at the beach!"
"People skating!"
"when mama was a little girl, mama used to play hop scotch!" (hmmm, who told you that Noel?)
"Noel waters a plant."
This is a funny one, and you will never get it without Noel telling you the story, here it goes - " Noel is sitting on the chair reading, and has a dream of Noel with messy hair and mama is brushing it!"
This kid's imagination is unreal!
