Months ago I got Baby V a maze book, and thinking, why not get Noel one too, and see if she likes it.
Well, not only does Noel enjoy playing mazes, she is pretty good at it too. The book says that it trains the "reasoning ability" - well, whatever it means? But last night, we were reading books that Noel has been reading for over 2 years - without any incidents.....
Well, so Noel can count now, what is the problem?
She looked at me, said : " mama, Clifford cannot hop on those rocks, they are way too small for him. Even if he does this.....(Noel squeezed her hands and feet together) he is still too big. This drawing is wrong!"
We always have fun with this page, we play I Spy, learn the words, group the toys, but never did Noel say what she said last night.....
"mama, Clifford cannot see the cat, he looks at the other way, cat is behind him, wrong again."
So, is this the "reasoning ability" that kids develop at this age? It has been a while since check the "milestones book." But whatever it is, I cannot deny, my little girl is growing up - fast!
